William & Amy

Amy and William got engaged on campus earlier this year! It was an exciting engagement with all the corps traditions under the Century Tree. I was glad to spend some time with them today and take some pictures for them on campus. These are just a few of my favorites from today. I think they turned out fantastic! You can tell these two are in love! I'm so happy for you, friends! Can't wait for the big day!!

Enjoy!

Lauren's Graduation

"A friend loves at all times..." - Proverbs 17:17

I met Lauren in June of 2007 at our New Student Conference for Texas A&M. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I know we sat through a whole dinner across the table from each other listening to some girl talk about how great she was (I wonder what happened to her). We gave each other that "oh brother" look a couple times. At the end I asked her what her name was and laughed because we had the same name. We became facebook friends and before school started Lauren called me to come to her dorm and hang out with her and her roommate. That first semester we had lunch together a few times every week and had a lot of good laughs at Sibisa Dining Hall. The rest is history... and kind of a blur to me. And today she has graduated from the greatest university in the world! WHOOP!!

Lauren is a one of a kind friend. She has been there for me through my best and hardest times at A&M. She has put up with me for 4 whole years... There should be some kind of award for that. I might seem like someone who is easy to get along with, but I would say that I'm easy to love until you get to know me. Lauren has helped show me what it means to be a friend and how to love someone like Christ loves on a daily basis. There is no way to say thank you to her for everything she has done for me.

Lauren!!! I am so proud of you and who you have become! There is so much for you to look forward to in the future!  I have cherished everyday of the last few years! Its hard for me to close this chapter of our friendship, I know there are many more great years to come! You deserve everything that you have earned! Congratulations, Lauren! I love you!

Here are a few of my favorites from Lauren's graduation.

President of the University, Dr. R. Bowen Loftin

The graduate!

This is what I love about A&M! Of course we are going to Saw 'Em Off at the end of graduation!

"Saw varsity's horns off!"

WHOOP!

Beautiful!

The first day of the rest of your life! Congrats!

Be blessed!

Ranch Life

Yesterday my friend Lauren asked if I would like to go with her to her uncle's ranch. Umm.. YES! So we headed out to Brenham, TX to meet her family there. I was really excited because I have never been to anything like a ranch before. I had a great time there and enjoyed getting to know everyone who was there! There were a lot of great photo opportunities and I just wanted to share a couple with you! Be blessed!

Twins Baseball

I had the chance to go to my brother's baseball game yesterday. The last few times I have been home his team has been in a tournament in another state. I was excited to go because it was a night game and I knew I would get to use my Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 lens that my dad got me for Christmas. This lens is perfect for sports and action shots. Here are a few lucky shots I got! Enjoy!
