The big two-two

So this is what 22 feels like, huh? It was a great birthday indeed! Over the weekend my mom came in to "babysit" Bailey so I could study. Thanks mom! She bought me some flowers, so I did what I always do... took pictures.

On my birthday my Dad drove in to take me to dinner! How sweet! We took Bailey to the park and let her run around a little bit. Then we went to get some dinner at Abuelos! Lauren joined us there! Of corse we had a 'rita and some flan (?). I didn't have to do anything embarrassing, which was great! Here is to another year and hopefully more photos! Be blessed!

Bailey

I can't believe it has been a whole week since I adopted Bailey. It seems like it has been a year. Seriously! I feel like I have gotten a crash course in puppy parenting. If this is what kids are like I will wait until I have a job to adopt one of those (haha). Don't get me wrong it has been really great to have a dog that loves you and listens to you when you call her. I have just learned the hard way that a dog will not wait for you to take a shower so she can go outside to use the restroom. And that she likes to wake me up at 6:30 am to play fetch outside. But that face, I can't be mad at that face! Just look how happy she is playing fetch! Enjoy!

Amy & William

William, a good friend that I have known for many years proposed to his girlfriend, Amy, last weekend. I was excited to go because he was going to do a traditional corpse proposal under the century tree with a saber arch and the whole bit. I'm a sucker for Aggie traditions. So, if my future husband is reading this... please propose to me under the century tree! It was perfect and I'm glad I was there to be a part of it. Best wishes to Amy and William as they plan the rest of their life together! Here are a few of my favorite pictures. Be blessed!

Simple Photog

What do you think about the new name? Photog means photographer. So, simple photographer. Nice, huh? My great friend Lauren came up with this yesterday while we were studying at the library. She is very creative and good with words. Just one of the many reasons why I love her! So, thanks Lauren for the great name and hopefully Simple Photog will be on the map and maybe even in Simple Magazine. Well, time will only tell. Until then, enjoy the simple photography of  my simple life. Be blessed!

BAILEY

Well, I never thought I would see the day that I would actually be "allowed" to adopt my own dog. I don't think it has hit me yet that I have my own dog... She is mine... and I have to take care of her. I am so ready! This is the sweetest dog I could ever ask for. The last week has been really hard for me, but the wait has paid off. Here are a few pictures from Bailey's first photo shoot. She is really tired right now because she had surgery this morning, but trust me you will be tired of pictures of this sweet dog in no time! Be blessed!

This is Bailey the night I brought her home. Very tired and ready for a long nap! Welcome home, Bailey!

Happy Birthday Mom!

This weekend is my mom birthday, so I came into town to help celebrate. Today for lunch we went to Maggiano's Little Italy. It was really nice and for dessert we had cheesecake and tiramisu. Needless to say it was delicious! Happy birthday, mom! Here is to another great year. I love you!

Texas Bluebonnets

Well I am home for my mom's birthday. She always talks about how she wants to take some pictures in the bluebonnets... So we did! We went to this huge field all by itself. It was great. Here are a few that I really liked! Hopefully we will be able to go back next year and get some even better pictures! Be blessed
