TAMU Horses

Today when I was driving around with a couple friends I saw a pasture of horses. Later, I came back with my gear only to find them on the other side of the pasture. I decided to just take a couple shots and see what I could get. About 15 minutes later they had made their way over to me! It was so great! They let me pet them and seemed to like having me take their picture. I will definitely return for another photo shoot! Enjoy!

Self Portrait

This attempt at a self portrait shoot started as an extra credit assignment for my abnormal psychology class. This extra credit was to submit a document describing who we are, why we are in the class, what we hope to learn from the course and how we hope to apply it to our lives. We also had to attach a picture. This was a great excuse for me to get creative and try some self portrait photography. It's pretty tricky with an DSLR camera, but thanks to some online tips I made it happen. I took the pictures behind my duplex with my EF 50mm USM prime lens. I am now in love with that lens! I also got to mess around with the BW/Sepia settings on my camera. I'm looking forward to working with myself again :)  Blessings!

My Favorite Mug

Thanks Kate for giving me this mug for Christmas last year! It's my favorite tea mug and I still use it even after the Christmas season! I was drinking some tea while studying and wanted to procrastinate so I took a picture of this mug. This picture was shot with my new Canon EF-S 15-85mm IS USM lens that I bought a couple weeks ago. This is the first picture posted that has been taken by this lens! All others have been by my older EF 50mm lens. I hope to take some more pictures as soon as school calms down a little bit. Until then, enjoy!

Jeter

Can you tell I love my pets? They are alright I guess. Here are a couple of Jeter I liked. He looked so cute napping in the afternoon sun. Of course I had to bother him with my picture taking :)

I bought a Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens this week and I can't wait to try it out!! More to come. Blessings!

Chip the Calico Cat

I love my cat Chip! I have had her for a little over 15 years now. I can't believe it. She doesn't look a day over 8 cat years. She was playing in a large piece of poster paper my mom brought home the other day. Hope she didn't need it for anything. Oh well, enjoy!

Blessings!

Sunset in Aggieland

Just a quick picture from my trip to college station last week to hang out with my good friend Lauren. It was a last minute trip but I'm glad I went and got to see her before we had any school responsibilities to take care of. More aggie pictures later I'm sure. Blessings!

Kate, Jo, Em, Sara, and Kailee

I spent the day in Henderson for my friend Allison's wedding to Jon Quick. It was beautiful and "very Allison". I'm very happy for Mr. and Mrs. Quick and pray blessings over their lives together.

Needless to say I had a great time hanging out with Kate, Jo, and Em at the wedding. It was also great to see Kailee and Sara! We took a few pictures before the wedding and then I talked the girls into a mini shoot by this cool building that I saw earlier that day. Thanks for humoring me! I really enjoyed it! Hope you enjoy the results..

Thank you Allison for inviting me to be a part of your special day. Also a big thanks to Kate, Jo, Em, Kailee, and Sara for being awesome models and letting me take your pictures even though it was so cold. You were all so great! Blessings!

Dingo and Jeter

Happy 2011!

My last day of 2010 consisted of House marathon, a trip to Kroger, a dip in the jacuzzi with my mom, a few glasses of wine, and a photo shoot with my sleepy dogs. You can tell they were really excited about 2011.

Jeter

Jeter likes to have his picture taken. In the last one he was trying to be cute then he got tired of all the attention and hopped off the couch.

Anyways, here is to 2011 and everything it holds. Blessings!
